religiously musical

don't let sufjan stevens fall off the playlists. that record will definitely stand the test of time. john wayne gacy, jr is an absolute masterpiece.

im blessed with some mindless work today so im really indulging in my ipod. and lemme say this...there is something almost religious about a crescendo in a sigur ros piece. or like...that moment in my body is a cage (arcade fire) or all i need (radiohead in rainbows) where you just wanna tear your chest open so your soul and heart are naked to experience the music first hand. or a heart wrenching melody from blonde redhead or emily haines or antony, where if you did expose your heart...it would just simply melt. or a cheerful and optimistic musical voyage like divided sky (phish) where you just wanna run as fast as you can to a mountain top...take deep breathes that invigorate and calm you at once, and admire the earth's immensity.
